Three months into our AI program, she was using AI tools to help plan her small business’s marketing content — confidently, and without needing to understand a single line of code.

Her story isn’t unusual. It’s actually the story behind why we built the Artificial Intelligence Program at EABT in the first place.

From Science Fiction to Daily Reality

Just a few years ago, artificial intelligence felt like a distant, almost abstract concept — something for researchers, large tech companies, or science fiction films. Today, AI tools write emails, generate images, analyze data, recommend what we watch and buy, assist in medical diagnoses, and increasingly shape decisions in hiring, education, and business strategy.

This isn’t a future trend anymore. It’s the present. And the gap that’s opening up isn’t between people who understand advanced AI engineering and those who don’t — it’s between people who know how to use AI tools effectively in their work and life, and those who don’t yet feel confident doing so.

That second gap is exactly what our program is designed to close.

A Program Built for Beginners, Not Just Engineers

One of the most common misconceptions about AI is that you need to be a programmer to understand or use it meaningfully. At EABT, we built our Artificial Intelligence Program specifically to challenge that assumption. Our students start with no assumed technical background — just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

We begin with the fundamentals: what artificial intelligence actually is, how it works at a conceptual level, and the difference between the various tools and technologies often lumped together under the “AI” label. From there, the program moves into genuinely practical territory — how AI is already being used across industries like education, business, healthcare, marketing, and customer service, and how students can start applying these tools in their own work immediately.

For students who want to go deeper, the program also introduces the basics of how AI systems are built and trained, giving a foundational understanding that can support further technical study later, without requiring it from day one.

Practical Applications, Not Just Theory

What sets our program apart is its insistence on usefulness. We don’t want students to leave with an abstract understanding of AI concepts they’ll never apply. We want them to leave knowing how to actually use AI tools to save time, improve their work, and open new professional possibilities.

That might mean a small business owner learning how to use AI to draft marketing content and respond faster to customer inquiries. It might mean a student learning how to use AI responsibly as a research and writing aid. It might mean a job seeker learning how AI-powered tools are now used in recruitment — and how to navigate that reality strategically.
